Biography

Imanverdi Guluzada (21) is more than a programmer, entrepreneur, and business analyst. He's a dynamic force in Azerbaijan's tech and business sectors. His journey, marked by early ambition and a global outlook, offers a compelling example for young people.

Imanverdi's passion for computer science began at 8, driving him to master Java and C++. His early experiences at formerly known as Qafqaz University, working alongside advanced researchers, laid the foundation for his diverse career. His entrepreneurial spirit emerged early, leading him to launch a web and application development venture at 12. This venture, which served clients both locally and globally, provided him with valuable lessons in management and teamwork, despite the challenges.

At 16, he moved to China, attending a prestigious high school. This bold move, his first time flying alone, showcased his adaptability. In China, he built a logistics and trading business, managing international clients. He also undertakes freelance consulting projects, demonstrating his relentless work ethic.

Despite his success, Imanverdi faced significant setbacks, including a fraudulent business deal. This experience, while difficult, taught him resilience. As he puts it, "Failure is like my friend. We don't learn from success, but we do learn from failure."

Currently, Imanverdi is deeply involved in several ventures - ZADE - Tech&Design and ZADETrading. He manages a logistics and trading business, facilitating international transactions, particularly in the automotive sector, connecting Chinese suppliers with clients in Central Asiaand the Middle East. Simultaneously, he works as a regional manager for Premium Travel, focusing on luxury hospitality and tourism in Asia. He also leads IT consulting projects and mentors aspiring entrepreneurs, sharing his knowledge and experience.

His achievements are remarkable: fluency in multiple programming languages, experience in international trade, and a history of successful entrepreneurial ventures, all before 22. Yet, he remains grounded. He emphasizes continuous learning, advising young professionals to "learn, learn, learn" and adapt to the evolving tech landscape.

Looking ahead, Imanverdi plans to further expand his business ventures, focusing on sustainable growth and innovation. He aims to strengthen Azerbaijan's presence in the global tech and business arenas. He also intends to increase his mentorship activities, empowering the next generation of Azerbaijani entrepreneurs. His goal is to be recognized for his integrity and commitment to fostering growth in his country.
